This special jersey is manufactured in Japan on original circular knitting machines from the 1920s to the 1960s so called loopwheel machines, of which only around 400 remain worldwide today. The machines work extremely slowly: just one meter of fabric is produced per hour but under particularly low thread tension. The result: a loose, textured jersey that feels soft,
