I have used both, in other lights, and imo the thermal tape is easier to work with, and just as effective the 16mm mcpcb may need a very small amount of diameter reduction… a sanding drum on a dremel would make quick work of that the other anticipated issue is the dome of the 519a might not fit the small opening in the optic, I think you could solve this by dedoming
